We're Getting Married

We met in Madison, WI. I was traveling up to see Erin Duque and celebrate my golden birthday in downtown Madison. Erin and Henry invited some of their friends to meet us at Casa Del Sol. We arrived at the restraurant and as Miguel got out of the car I thought "wow who is this good looking guy." We didn't talk much that night but I noticed him and he noticed me. By the end of the weekend Miguel sent me a facebook message saying "thanks for inviting him out he had a good time at the party and he hoped I had a good time too." We continued to message eachother back and forth and that led to our first date a Chicago Cubs game and the rest is our story...

It was a Saturday and I had woken up early to take Milo to Devils Lake for a hike. I was meeting Erin and a bunch of my work colleagues and their families. The plan was to start hiking at 10:30am on the West Bluff. We all started hiking and made it to the top and to my surprise Miguel was standing at the top with his family and friends with flowers in his hand. I ran to him and hugged him started crying a little but gathered myself before I went to say hello to everyone. When I returned to him he spoke to me then got down on one knee and said "Will you marry me?" and I'm sure we all know how I answered and but I'll still tell you I shouted " Yes!" We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter of our lives with everyone! See you all in Wisconsin!
