We first crossed paths in college, the night Emily walked into one of our favorite dive bars and spotted Miguel in his Tampa Bay Lightning jersey. There was an instant spark - by the end of the night, he was giving Emily a ride home on his moped, and that is where the journey began. We spent our college years together - sharing friends, sharing classes, and making some of our most cherished memories. After graduation, our story wasn’t always so straight forward - different cities, different timing, and more than a few ups and downs. Despite not living in the same city since college, we would take turns sending the other a quarterly “just making sure you still exist” text, never fully letting each other go. While we know we gave all of our loved ones quite the headache (we're very sorry!!), we couldn't stay away from each other. At the end of 2023, we decided to give us another try and this time, it stuck. In September 2024, we bought our first home together in New York City, and by May 2025, we knew it was time to take the next step. Now, we’re so excited to be getting married and starting our next chapter together. From 2012 to forever!
