I (Danika) have dreamed of getting married in the Gull Lake area since we first started vacationing up there in 2010. Another dream of mine was to work on the lake for a summer and had the opportunity the summer of 2021 when Miguel and I worked at Quarterdeck Resort. Nisswa is our favorite place where we have millions of memories with our friends and family!
The reception is located at Madden's Resort - The Pavilion.
Miguel and I have decided to have a small ceremony on my parent's (Lori & Dan) anniversary 6/20/24 prior to the reception day.
No! The Pavilion is surrounded by Gull Lake and is a very relaxing and casual venue.
There are several places to stay around the Baxter/Brainerd area but they will fill fast as it is a summer vacation destination. I have listed a few options on the "Travel" page - we do have a block of rooms at Madden's Resort if you are interested in staying on the venue.
