We're getting married!

We met in the summer of 2021 on Tinder. Our first date was dinner on a night when it was pouring rain, and we got absolutely soaked trying to get to the restaurant. Despite the downpour, we couldn’t stop laughing at ourselves and although Brooke felt self-conscious about her hair and makeup being ruined, Miguel still couldn't stop staring at her and made her feel beautiful. Miguel liked that Brooke found humor in the situation instead of frustration.

We got engaged in November 2024 in Colorado at Rocky Mountain National Park, by beautiful Lily Lake. Right after the proposal, it started snowing, which made the moment feel even more magical. We stayed in a cozy little Christmas town, which added to the charm of the whole experience. It was a perfect and intimate setting for such an important moment in our lives. It was very us because we love to travel, love Colorado and hike in every state we visit.
