Fun fact: we actually don't remember how we were introduced to each other. What we do know is that we had several mutual friends and were both involved in ORU's missions & outreach program. In 2018 Cat's South Africa team & Miguel's Guatemala team went on a retreat together and this is where we believe our story started. We quickly became friends due to our common troll-like humor. We remained friends over the following two years when we became coworkers in the Missions & Outreach department. During March of 2020 when we were sent back to our homes from school, we never stopped talking to each other. It first started with group face-time calls with all of our friends and then slowly would dwindle down to just Miguel and Cat chatting. Still, we can't go a day without a text or call to each other. Some would call this a friends to lovers story. Can't wait to celebrate this new chapter of our story with all of you on December 6th :)
