FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

We recommend arriving 15–20 minutes before the ceremony begins. Our wedding Mass will begin promptly at 1:00 PM, and we ask guests to be seated before the procession starts.

Question

Is the ceremony religious?

Answer

Yes! We will be celebrating a Catholic Nuptial Mass. The ceremony will include prayers, Scripture readings, and the Eucharist. Guests of all faith backgrounds are warmly welcome to attend and celebrate with us.

Question

What if I don't know the Catholic mass responses?

Answer

Thats okay! Being there with us is more than enough. Programs will be available at the ceremony with all of the Mass parts and responses included, so you’ll have everything you need to follow along comfortably.

Question

Are phones and cameras allowed during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to be fully present with us during the ceremony. Please silence phones and refrain from taking photos during the Mass so everyone can experience the sacrament together. Our photographer will be capturing everything and we will gladly share those photos.

Question

Will there be a gap between the ceremony and reception?

Answer

Yes. Following the ceremony, there will be some time between the Mass and reception festivities. Cocktail hour will begin at 4:30 PM, giving guests an opportunity to attend Saint Marks 4:30 Saturday vigil mass, explore the area, or return to their accommodations before joining us for the evening celebration.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire is requested. Men are encouraged to wear a suit and tie, while women might choose a cocktail dress, elegant jumpsuit, or dressy separates. Because our ceremony will take place during a Catholic Mass, we kindly ask guests to keep modesty in mind when selecting their attire. Our wedding party will be wearing shades of blue and green, and guests are welcome to wear these colors as well. If you'd prefer not to match the wedding party, feel free to choose another color palette.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

Parking will be available at both venues. At Saint Mark, there are parking lots located on both the left and right sides of the church. At Countryside Banquet Center, guests may park in the lot located directly in front of the venue.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! For guests staying at Stoney Creek Inn, shuttle service will be provided to and from the reception. Shuttles will run between the hotel and Countryside Banquet Center from 4:15 PM to 5:45 PM before the reception, with return service available from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM at the end of the evening. We encourage all guests to utilize the shuttle service so they can fully enjoy the celebration and travel safely throughout the evening.

Question

What food and drinks will be served?

Answer

Cocktail hour begins at 4:30 PM. Light hors d'oeuvres and an open bar will be available during cocktail hour & throughout the rest of the evening. Dinner service will begin shortly after 6:00 PM.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

If a plus one has been reserved for you, it will be reflected on your invitation and RSVP. We appreciate your understanding as we celebrate with our family and friends.

Question

Can we bring our children?

Answer

We absolutely love kids (and spend a lot of our time with them!), so they are very close to our hearts. That said, our celebration is only able to include the children specifically named on the invitation. We appreciate your understanding and can’t wait to celebrate with you.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to note any dietary restrictions or allergies on their RSVP so we can do our best to accommodate them.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by August 30th so we can finalize all details with our vendors.
