What should we wear?

Answer

Our wedding is semi-formal attire. Please plan for a nice button up or jacket, a chic midi dress, or even a classic pantsuit. There will be some grass terrain, but for the most part easy to navigate in heels.

Am I allowed to bring a guest?

Answer

Due to COVID and to keep our guest list on track, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited on your wedding invitation and the names you see once you RSVP online. Thank you for understanding!

Can my kids attend?

Answer

We have included our niece and nephew in the ceremony but have opted for an adult-only reception. We hope you understand!

Is your wedding outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony will be held outdoors, while the reception will have an indoor setting. You may want to bring a jacket, sweater, or wrap. Late May is typically warm in San Diego, but Estancia La Jolla is close to the beach so it might be a bit cooler, especially at night.

For our guests convenience, we have arranged complimentary valet parking.

Will guests be required to be vaccinated and/or wear a mask?

Answer

Nothing will be required of our guests. However, we understand there are concerns about risks associated with COVID. We want all our guests to feel comfortable while at our wedding, whatever that looks like for you.

Will there be a lot of walking?

Answer

Our venue requires little walking from the valet to the ceremony and from the ceremony to the reception. Our ceremony takes place in a grass courtyard, but the rest of the terrain is very level. If you have trouble walking, please let the valet know, and they will be able to provide assistance.

What should I do if I can’t make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you cannot make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible so we can plan accordingly. You may RSVP "no" by clicking the 'RSVP' tab in the navigation at the top of this website.

Will this be an 'Unplugged' ceremony?

Answer

We know how excited everyone is to snap photos and videos during the ceremony, but we ask for you to be present with us and take in the moment without technology. We have hired the best photographer, and we promise to share the photos with you as soon as we get them. Please be courteous to us and them by putting your phones down to avoid having them in our photos. The reception... different story!
