High Cotton Charleston Restaurant
The best shrimp and grits in my opinion! Southern cuisine with live jazz music nightly. A Kamenicky family favorite!
Husk
Located in a charming old house on Queen Street. All of the food is excellent and sourced from local and/or small farms. Chris and I have dined here several times and it has not disappointed. Make a reservation early though - it can book up months in advance!
The Market
Stroll the open air market to find locally made art, crafts, jewelry and foods! When we visit we love to get stone ground grits, benne seed wafers, fresh ground bulk coffee, sterling silver jewelry and art.
Poogan's Porch
Cute restaurant in an old house on Queen Street. Named after an old family dog named Poogan.
Blossom
Located downtown, another one of our local favorites. Nice for dinner; seafood and southern cuisine. Also try Magnolia's next door - their sister restaurant.
