The duckpin bowling is located downstairs in the Edgeworth Club. The duckpin ball weighs three pounds and is slightly larger than a softball. (4-3/4 in to 5 in diameter to be exact.) The other noticeable difference – no finger holes. The pins are different, too. They’re 9 inches tall. According to Wikipedia: “Duckpins are shorter and squattier than the regular pins used in ten pin bowling” Don't be fooled by the size, though. The game is so difficult, no one has recorded a perfect score.
If you'd like to stop by the Edgeworth Club from 9AM-Noon on Sunday, join us for a Bloody Mary/Mimosa at the Paddle Hut, located next to the Tennis Courts. There will be pickleball/ Paddle tennis courts reserved if you'd like to try your hand at either game. All guests are welcome!
