We met when we were in 7th grade. We dated for a whopping 2 whole days, as 7th graders do, before we decided to part ways. Flash forward to Memorial Day weekend of 2020 and I'm spending the day with my best friend, and now Maid of Honor, at her house. To my surprise, Mickey walks in the door just as I'm about to leave. At first we thought nothing of it. But, I decided to stay awhile longer and we instantly reconnected! We started as two friends who needed someone who understood what the other was going through, both recently experiencing a lot of changes in our lives. Two teachers teaching through a pandemic, who ended up spending a few weekdays here and there at Postinos happy hours together. These weekly happy hours started turning into weekly date nights which turned into us being completely inseparable! The rest truly is history. Now here we are owning our first home, engaged, and ready to start the rest of our lives together... just two innocent 7th graders who had no clue what was coming for them 13 years later!
