Not only is this one of the best art museums in Los Angeles, it's where we had our first date, seven years ago!
The Grove Drive
Oh The Grove... Many birthday celebrations, late night movie dates, coffee runs, and casual family strolls have taken place here. Before we moved in together, we probably spent more time at Barnes and Noble than most places. Easily one of our favorite places, and many of our family members and friends agree.
Canter's Restaurant, Bakery, Deli and Bar

Hollywood & Highland
Mickey here - I'm not quite recommending the mall, as I am the entire area of Hollywood as a whole. (Besides, the best mall is The Grove, you can try to change my mind, but I won't be swayed). My Los Angeles residents and natives are probably wondering why on Earth I recommended this loud and congested tourist trap, well it's because I actually love it down here. The Walk of Fame and Mann's Chinese are must sees.

The best music store in the world! I've been going here since I was a kid, and we want to keep places like this in business.
