we met in the fall of 2019, while we were working together at raising cane’s chicken fingers in reno. amidst the smells of grease and cane’s sauce, our friendship began to form! we very quickly became close friends, sharing numerous interests including music, theatre, and of course, serving chicken. a year had passed, and it became undeniable that there was more between us, and the rest was history!

we went back to the location of our first date, a local park with floral gardens, to watch a festival of lights. as we strolled through the festive garden, we turned to cross a secluded bridge, michaela proposed, and miranda said, “obviously, yes!” just like that, we were engaged! we are so excited to share this part of our lives with all of you, thank you, thank you, thank you, for your love and support. much love, miranda and michaela
