What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up with us and are asking that our guests dress in semi-formal attire. For the ladies, this means cocktail dresses, midi-length dresses, or elegant jumpsuits with heels or dressy sandals. Gentlemen can wear a suit or tuxedo with a dress shirt and tie (or bow tie) and leather dress shoes. Wear whatever color you would like, but we kindly ask the Ladies to refrain from wearing white, ivory, or light/pastel blue to avoid matching our wedding party.

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love our little friends and family members, but we have respectfully decided that this will be an adult-only event, unless your entire family has been invited via the invitation. We appreciate your understanding, so enjoy a night off and come ready to party!

Is there parking at the cathedral and reception venue?

Answer

You can find Cathedral parking in the back parking lot OR on the street. Street parking is free on the weekends, so there is no need to pay for ceremony parking. Reception parking is in the Sheraton's parking garage and is validated for our guests who will be celebrating with us.

Is transportation included?

Answer

We want all of our guests to feel comfortable on our special day. At this time, we will not be providing group transportation. Guests are kindly asked to arrange their own travel between the hotel, church, and reception venue. Both locations are easily accessible by car, and the addresses of both church and venue can be found on this website under the "Travel" tab, and will be listed on the invitation.

Will the wedding take place indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding will be completely indoors. Our ceremony will be at St. Peters Cathedral, and the reception will be inside the Sheraton hotel on the Bayfront. Depending on the weather, cocktail hour may take place outdoors.

Can I take pictures?

Answer

We will be having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you would like!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Please let the couple know if you have any dietary accommodations as soon as possible. Accommodations are available.
