Question

When are my room deposits and payments due?

Answer

- First Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of $200 per room is required at the time of booking to guarantee and block your suite. You must book your room no later than June 10th to secure a room within the wedding room block. - Second Payment: 50% of your total room revenue is due by July 20th, 2026. - Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full by August 19, 2026 (90 days prior to arrival). Note: Any rooms not fully paid by the final deadline may be cancelled by the hotel at their discretion.

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding ceremony and reception are strictly adults-only celebrations. We highly recommend using this as a weekend to relax and leave the kids at home.

Question

What is the resort’s policy on children?

Answer

El Dorado Royale and Casitas are strictly 18+. If you are traveling with a child, you must book your stay at Generations Riviera Maya, the family-friendly resort on the same property. Children must remain within the Generations section at all times and are not permitted to access the Casitas or Royale portions of the property, including their pools and lounges.

Question

How do I book activities and shuttles?

Answer

Reservations for airport transfers and shuttles to Playa del Carmen/Cancun must be made 30 days in advance. For Jet Skis or the Catamaran, visit the "More Inclusive" desk in the lobby as soon as you check in.

Question

Is there a dress code for the resort?

Answer

"Resort Casual" is perfect for the day. For dinner, à la carte restaurants require "Resort Elegant"—this means no swimwear, tank tops, or baseball caps. Men should wear long pants, collared shirts, and closed-toe shoes; women typically wear sundresses or dressy sandals.

Question

Do I need to carry cash for tips?

Answer

Gratuities are technically included in your "More Inclusive®" stay. However, small tips (in USD or Pesos) for exceptional service from your Casita Butler, baggage handlers, or shuttle drivers are a common and appreciated gesture in Mexico.

Question

What should I pack for activities?

Answer

We recommend biodegradable sunscreen (regular sunscreen is often prohibited in cenotes and reefs), water shoes, and a dry bag. Also, ensure your passport is valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates!
