At the latest, you will want to depart from your international airport by December 26th, Thursday in order to arrive in the Philippines by December 28th, Saturday. Make sure you fly into Manila (MNL), Ninoy Aquino International Airport. From there, you’ll need to drive/shuttle up to Ilocos which is roughly a six-hour drive.
Your best option is to book a ride on a bus that goes from Manila to Ilocos. Most likely it'll go from Cubao to Laoag, in which case you would just have to taxi from the airport/resort to the bus terminal. You can do the same process when heading back from Ilocos as well. I will be posting specific bus agencies that follow this route soon.
In short: Formal. That means, for women, full-length dresses and for men, suits. If you are in the military, you can wear your dress uniforms.
Royal blue, champagne gold, and beige/nude.
It will be held at the Santa Maria Church, which is roughly a 20-minute drive from the reception.
The reception will be held at Vitalis Villas in the Parthenon building.
The decision was really something that came to fruition back in March while we were in Boston smoking cigars with Lyle’s parents. They told me about the villas, the food, the warm weather, and all the things we could do while up there. Needless to say, we were sold on the idea even before Lyle and I were officially engaged. But besides those reasons, as a couple who travels together often, we hope this wedding celebration will encourage others to do the same and go see the world. What better excuse to see the Philippines than a wedding?
