We met at our mutual friend's wedding in Kansas City in June of 2021. We should make it very clear that it wasn't till the after party that we actually first met. Michelle was a bridesmaid at this wedding, living it up with her college friends, not looking for anything. Nick who use to work for the bride in Kansas City had no expectations at this wedding of finding anyone. Thanks to the groom and a cat named Cleo at the after party (the bride had no part in getting them together), Michelle decided to take a chance on Nick. Even though Nick is a Mizzou Tiger and Michelle is a Kansas Jayhawk, the relationship seemed to work and they have been putting up with each other ever since. Michelle officially moved to St. Louis in February 2022 after many years in Los Angeles. Nick surprised Michelle with proposing on the top of the Eiffel Tower on July 31, 2022. They can't wait to celebrate with everyone in Charleston!
