Thankfully, we did have a few mutual friends & that helped us feel comfortable meeting for a blind date of sorts. We agreed to meet at Eddie V's in the Arboretum. Michelle: I remember being so scared to turn the corner into the dining room of Eddie V's. As soon as I saw Dustin at a table in the bar I couldn't believe how handsome he was. He was so clean cut and put together, I felt bad that I had been so late. I remember a slight fear that as soon as he spoke he would have this high pitched voice and ruin how handsome he was. hahaha!! I immediately ran over and apologized and gave him a big hug. I sat down and couldn't stop smiling. We ordered our drinks, which we still order each time we go to Eddie V's, and began to talk. After 4 hours of non-stop talking we knew this was something special. We shut the place down and at the very end of the night Dustin got up and came to my side of the table and gave me a wonderful kiss to which the staff and other guests in Eddie V's started clapping. As easy as it was to connect and begin our relationship, it was just as perfect when we combined our families. Dustin: I knew something was special about Michelle the moment I saw her picture. As we started talking online she seemed like such a perfect fit I thought she may have been a fake profile! We set a date to meet a few days before Christmas at Eddie V’s. I got there ordered up a drink and waited…and waited…after about an hour (30 min in Michelle time) the most beautiful woman walked in with the most radiant smile. Any time I remember that night I remember that smile she had on all night. The time flew by as we talked and laughed until they were closing down. As we got up I knew I had to kiss this woman. I made my move.. the staff clapped and cheered (after all they thought I was being stood up) it was like being in a movie. From that night we grew our love and formed a family. Through everything, I wouldn’t want anyone else by my side.
