First Meeting Where do souls meet in the modern age? The internet, of course. Our journey began in September 2023, guided by a touch of divine and modern algorithmic matchmaking. Within a month, our relationship that started with a quirky icebreaker question soon grew into something far more profound. And how do we know our love is nurtured by God and Jesus? Because even with today’s technology, 8,800 miles of distance and a 14-hour time difference remain mountains we could never cross on our own. Yet by His grace, on Christmas Eve 2023, we met in person for the very first time—on the beautiful island of Bali, Indonesia.   Two Become One In December 2023, Jason crossed oceans to meet Michelle and her family, turning distance into touch and longing into home. With each shared day, our bond grew quieter, deeper, and sure. Together, we welcomed the dawn of 2025 in Taiwan, holding gentle dreams of all that lay ahead. As the final moments of the year slipped away, so too did the waiting.  On the first day of the New Year and after 485 days, Jason asked, and Michelle said yes—where two journeys became one promise, and two lives began as one. New Journey After months of patience and paperwork, Michelle moved to the United States in May 2025, carrying both courage and hope. We registered at the courthouse in June 2025—a simple moment rich with meaning—but we knew this joy was not meant to be ours alone. Now, we look forward to celebrating our holy matrimony and reception with family and friends in both the United States and Indonesia in August 2026.
