In 2022, Michelle got a job offer out of nowhere and she decided to try it out. That’s where Michelle and Dylan met. They were coworkers but there was more to it after seeing each other every single day. Michelle has really never been so confident and decisive for anything in life until she saw Dylan. She knew she wanted him and she pursued that dream. Michelle made the first move (believe it or not). From small conversations every morning at work, to a few messages on Instagram, to end up being engaged after a few months of dating. That’s when they learned that time doesn’t really matter when you have found your soulmate. You can be 10 years with someone and it doesn’t work or you can be with someone less than a year and certainly meet the ‘love of your life’. In November of that same year, they attended a wedding of their family friend and such a coincidence that Michelle caught the bouquet and Dylan caught the garter. Everyone went crazy! The euphoria in the room was so incredible that Dylan ended up proposing to Michelle. Even though, he had it planned on a trip in May of next year with his Ranger buddies. In August 2023, Michelle and Dylan had their engagement party in their backyard and celebrated the milestone with family and friends. Their main focus since then has been to save money for their future, experience life as an engaged couple and build their relationship stronger and stronger. Months later… in November, unfortunately Michelle’s dad passed away. This was one of the most heartbreaking moments they have lived together. Even though, Dylan had never met her father, he felt the pain as if he did. He held her and picked her up but for Michelle, like every girls dream is to have their dad walk her down the aisle. Just thinking of having a wedding without him was truly impossible. They delayed the word “wedding” for a few months and she took a step back from it and was mourning and grieving her father. Until one day, she realized that she couldn’t miss the opportunity of having such a special and beautiful day and they say you only want to get married once, so why not make it as special as it could be? They have different cultures and hobbies but they knew how to mix both of these worlds into one. After numerous adventures, travels, escape rooms and memories created. They are ready to become one. Michelle and Dylan want kids in a future and make their own family. Today, they are ready for this exciting and wonderful new adventure. As they grew up as a couple, now they can’t live without each other. Michelle and Dylan can’t wait to be together for the rest of their lives and Michelle truly can’t wait to be a Martinez. As Taylor Swift says, it’s a Love Story, baby, just say yes.
