Zach Garcia, Best Man, brother of the groom, and Emmy Winning Producer, currently lives in Seattle, WA where he works with the University of WA in their Medical Center. He and Zane grew up together in Broomfield, CO where they both developed a love for nature, sports, movies, and healthy competitive nature. Ask him about the Zane Garcia Show for plenty of laughs and a new look at the groom and his acting career.

Collin & Michelle met in a middle school musical and continued singing their way through community theatres through college. Part of the B Springs Crew, Collin and Michelle have belted out the Legally Blonde soundtrack together at least 800 times. After crushing event planning in Seattle’s hotel industry, he now shares his talents in health administration.

Tina & Michelle first met in JMU Theatre, and rekindled their Duke Dog spirit in Santa Monica. After Zane experienced many JMU brunch clubs and Tina's apartment became Ramona’s official home away from home, we knew there was no one better to help us tie the knot.

CoMatron of Honor: As Michelle’s older sister, Heather introduced her to her first Broadway soundtrack (Aida), a thirst for travel, and her love of dogs. Heather is the Executive Director of Lancaster Recreation, a proud momma to our 2 beautiful flower girls, and though she may have tried to sell baby Michelle at a lemonade stand, Heather has always been an incredibly supportive big sister.

1/6 of Zane’s B-town Boys he grew up with and Personal Chiropractor to the Groom, Currently lives in Broomfield, CO where he works as a Chiropractor in his own practice, Northstar Chiropractic. Outside of his own brother, the groom has known Butch the longest out of the bridal party. They have a deep history of friendship, a love for Hockey, watching movies, and even making a few of their own. They have shared countless experiences together of traveling cross country, touching the Stanley Cup, and even sharing the stage together. Ask Butch about how he had to save Zach B and the Groom during that same trip to Canada.

CoMatron of Honor: The oldest Smith sister, Sarah introduced Michelle to wine, fashion, and JMU. Sarah taught Michelle how to drive in the BSHS parking lot, gifted her first crock pot, and shared in her first cosmo. She is the proud momma to our 2 ring bearers, and an expert at Sex & the City trivia, Anapolis tourism, & baker of the best pumpkin bread in all of MD.
Ross Carmichael

Former Roommate, Fellow Employee, and Flag Football Teammate of the groom, Currently lives in Harrisburg, PA where he literally keeps the roof over the head of Gamut Theatre Group as their Technical Director. He and Zane met during both their first full years as Core Company Members at Gamut Theatre and quickly hit it off to become best friends.

Michelle and Erin met rehearsing at Gamut Theatre. From helping each other maneuver the stage in enormous dresses & pristine wigs, to organizing their company housing apartment, Michelle & Erin have always had a blast working side by side. Erin was the first person Michelle told about her crush on Zane, the first to know when they became an item, and a co-organizer of his perfect proposal on the Gamut stage.

Equinox colleague of the groom, classically trained dancer and Theatre Major, currently lives in Los Angeles, CA. There he works as a Tier X Coach at Equinox with the groom. Eagle has been a friend, mentor, and fellow 49ers fanatic with the groom. They have shared countless workouts, football games, and dance battles with each other over the years. Ask Eagle about the Dance breaks they share at work and in most public scenarios.

Michelle & Sam joined forces at JMU. After many rehearsals, costume parties, and Duke dog fight songs, these two cheered each other on from afar through theatre gigs around the country before reuniting for new late nights and early brunches in NYC. Sam continues to dance her way through NY with her husband, Alex, and cat Sno.

1/6 of Zane’s B-town Boys, he grew up with and former 2v2 basketball champion with the Groom, currently lives in Erie, CO where he works as a software engineer. He and the groom grew up as classmates, work out partners, and were even in a band at one point together #GoldenAshes4life. Ask him about the time he and the groom took the overnight shift of an overnight drive from Whistler, Canada to Broomfield, CO.

Megan & Michelle first met as the only 2 girl drummers in middle school band. Though Michelle quickly realized band life wasn’t for her, she and Megan shared many creative adventures in film, photography, community theatre, and more. They’ve shared a lot of Taco Bell over the years, and are now excited to share in this special day!

1/6 of Zane’s B-town Boys he grew up with, Lives in GA with his new husband and works as a Captain in the Army where he serves as a Company Commander. Jake and the groom grew up together where they went to school and developed a close friendship through their love of sports, board games, and a possibly unhealthy love of all things Batman. Ask Jake about the time he had to save the groom after a rock climbing mishap whilst also climbing a 14er in CO.

Michelle met Erika through the B Springs Crew in middle school. Fast forward through years of East coast fun, these 2 SoCal transplants have had a blast exploring the West Coast. From Temecula to San Clemente, Erika has helped Michelle discover some of the best brews, beaches, and trails (with both their chihuahuas in tow, of course)!
Scott Dickinson

1/6 of Zane’s B-town Boys he grew up with and former teammate, D1 athlete and UNCO Alumni with the groom. Scott currently lives in Longmont, CO where he works as a Math Teacher and Head Track/Cross Country Coach for Longmont High School. Scott and Zane have known each other most of their lives, living just 5 minutes from each other. The groom spent most of high school in Scotts basement playing video games, pool, board games, watching movies, sports, and The Game Show network. Ask Scott about the time Zane almost blew up a donut in the microwave in Scotts basement.

Emily, one of the B Springs Crew, met Michelle in 3rd grade when she moved into the neighborhood. After years of carpooling to dance classes, chorus concerts, and musical rehearsals, Emily & Michelle became neighbors yet again when they moved to NYC. Even though Emily’s now making history on Capitol Hill, Michelle is confident they’ll be neighbors again someday soon.

1/6 of Zane’s B-town Boys he grew up with and fellow creative collaborator with the groom. Tom currently lives in Boston, Massachusetts where he works as a consultant. He and the groom grew up watching sports, watching and deliberating over films, and making some of their own. Zane and Tom shared a creative chemistry together rarely found resulting in many great shared memories through film festivals, premiers, and short films of their own. Ask Tom about the Telluride Film Festival they attended and Mount Sneffles.

Michelle met Katie, her first B Springs Crew friend, in 1st grade. After instantly bonding over their love of RugRats, Michelle & Katie grew close through art installations, school plays, and sushi dates. Katie has a masterful green thumb and is a proud cat momma to her rescue, Artemis.
Dalton Rupp

1/6 of Zane’s B-town Boys, he grew up with and creative collaborator of the groom. Dalton currently lives in Denver, Colorado where he works as a Consultant. He and the groom grew up writing, filming, performing, and improvising sketches, scenes, and plays. Dalton and Zane also shared the field together as teammates in football and track, and were also in the same band together #GoldenAshes4Ever. Ask Dalton about one of their many sketches, but mainly Cooking with Clifford!

Catherine, a member of the B Springs Crew, met Michelle in middle school. Catherine has always found a way to encourage Michelle to try new things- from exploring farms as kids to rock climbing in highschool to midwestern meetups on the road. Now a successful vet in Boston, Michelle calls Catherine for chihuahua wellness advice regularly.

After leading Michelle & Zane through DC, Lucas is ready to lead the ring bearer brigade! He loves his dog Luna, baking with his mom, reading, and is an expert lego architect.
