Fate is a funny thing - over a decade ago, Michelle and Zack were both doing the same Chemical Engineering program at the University of Michigan. They sat in the same lectures for hours a semester over the 4 years, had similar friends and interests, but their paths never seemed to cross. Michelle moved to Boston after graduation while Zack moved to Jackson, Tennessee.

Zack moved to Nashville in 2018. Trying to meet new people, he joined an intramural softball league through Nashville Sports. Behind the table checking everyone in, was Michelle's best Nashville friend - Jill VandePutte. Zack was wearing his favorite Michigan crewneck sweatshirt and Jill, who also had Michigan gear on, started talking about Ann Arbor. As they spoke, Zack and Jill realized they both had a common friend - Michelle! One Facebook message later and the rest is history!
