Tyler was hanging out at the local bar, Fieldhouse 219, with some of his friends. Michelle showed up and had come from a wedding and she saw Tyler at the Jukebox picking out music. Michelle then walked over to him and asked him to play 90s hip hop. He told her he'd love to. Soon after that Michelle walked over to all of Tyler's buddies and began adding them all on Facebook. Anyone who knows Michelle knows she makes friends with lots of people when she drinks. Then Michelle left the bar. The following morning when Michelle woke up she saw that she had multiple new friends on Facebook. She thought, "who in the heck are these guys" then she remembered Tyler. She delete his friends, but kept him. A few weeks later she went to the local rodeo with some friends and afterwards they went to Fieldhouse. Michelle was swing dancing with her friend Nick when all of a sudden a guy walked up to her. She said, "Hey, I know you. You just liked my Facebook picture today. Tyler, right?" Tyler had broken his hand and had a cast on it. Michelle insisted she be the first (and only) one to sign it. So, he let her. Once she left the bar she messaged him and they began talking a lot. He tried to take her on dates and she refused and denied him. He did not give up. He then made her a bet.... On a Cubs game... She fell for it... The Cubs lost and well she had to go on a date with Tyler. The rest well.... is history. Here we are today getting married after being together for 4 and a half years.
On March 4th I went to Michelle’s Bridal accompanied by my mom, my future mother-in-law, my godmother, my stepmom, and my aunt. I tried on multiple dresses and liked one. Then we left and went to David’s Bridal and Elite Bridal. Every dress I tried on I kept thinking about the dress I found at Michelle’s Bridal. I ended the day exhausted, but excited to go back to Michelle’s the following day to get my dress. When I went back on Sunday I took my Matron of honor, Karrin, and when we arrived my stepmom told me to try on a different style. So, I did…. my response was, “shit”. My stylist asked if that was good or bad in which I told her it was good. When I walked out of the fitting room I was in love. Karrin cried and we FaceTimed Jodiee and she cried. I knew this “new” dress was in fact my dress! Needless to say I said YES TO THE DRESS annnnd I even left with it in my hand!
