We met at the University of Delaware at Kate’s, the classiest bar in town. Tommy asked for my number. I declined thinking he was up to no good and I wanted a nice boy. Tommy was persistent (even tried emailing me the night after I wouldn’t give him my number), and too cute to turn down. We’ve been together since!

Tommy proposed on the train tracks at UD. It was where Tommy first told his friend Anthony that he met the girl he was going to marry the night after I turned him down at Kate’s. When I asked why he proposed there, Tommy said, "That spot is really special to me and now it can be special for you....and my buddy Anthony, too."
