Things To Do

Every time we visit the area, we can't leave without thrifting, and having a meal in the madonna inn cafe. Outside of that, we haven't spent too much time exploring the area. It's quant, and quiet with an interesting history. We also always enjoy a stroll through a cemetery. We hope our past experiences can bring you a bit closer to SLO itself, and us.

Sunset Drive-In

255 Elks Lane, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
, (805) 544-4475

The first time we went to SLO we spent an evening wandering the cemetery, as per usual. As we reached the peak of a hill, we were able to see and hear the sounds of a drive in theater! Check out their instagram for double feature schedules, catch one if you can! https://www.instagram.com/sunsetdriveinslo/?fbclid=IwAR1qgmtgsUzOqzODreWYLeEgbgI7hnOQpxFLZmTNd3j304fxPFh_NKoqT8o

Old Mission School Thrift Shop

2958 South Higuera Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
, (805) 548-2660

We've never left with less than one full bag of new trinkets. Amazing deals, always full of great finds.

San Luis Cemetery

2890 South Higuera Street, San Luis Obispo, CA 93401
, (805) 543-7053

This is the first cemetery we went to, on our first trip to the madonna inn. It's full of rich history and interesting grave markers. Grab some coffee and enjoy the quiet ambiance, or, head over in the evening (it is always open) and maybe you'll catch a movie from the drive in!
