In 2019, our friends, the Mitchells, were hosting a church that met in the cinema in Grapevine. There, in front of the big screen, is where we first laid eyes on each other. He was the handsome man helping out down in front, and she was the beautiful woman in the back with her friends… and we were both curious. However, we were not ready for each other. For several years, we would see each other at annual events and say “hi”. Our paths even crossed at Capernaum Studios after events, such as the Passover Experience, in the prayer room… but we had no idea at the time what the future would hold! In February of this year, we both had a divine appointment. Do you know this name of God: Jehovah Sneaky!? Lol Each of us was invited (aka strongly encouraged) by friends to go to a Christian singles Valentine networking event. It was a bit outside of both of our comfort zones! But, we were able to chat more and each “dropped a hankie” for the other. We connected over the phone and then for a meal. We went to church events together a couple of times, “hiked”, and enjoyed more meals together. We began praying together for one another and our relationship deepened. After several months, we went to a musical stage production with friends where we really enjoyed being together and connected more deeply and, not long after, we entered a covenant courtship to see what God had for us. We were keeping God in the center and as the head, and submitted our relationship and future to Him. We have been amazed at how He’s brought us together and how well we are aligned! We can’t wait to see what the future holds as we unify and bring our callings and ministry goals together!

Michelle's birthday is also October 18th, so we'll be traveling as a couple for the first time as well as celebrating the birthday!
