Steve and Michelle both attended Northeastern Illinois University and were part of Greek life in 2012. Steve and Michelle were not part of the same social circle or had any classes together. They both went on to live their college young adult lives without ever knowing of each other, or so Michelle thought. Fast forward 11 years later, who knew they would reconnect on a dating app. It was Thor who caught Michelle's eye first. After many failed attempt with men who did not in fact love dogs as much as she did, it was important for her to find someone who shared the same emotional attachment to their fur baby as she did. She took a chance and swiped right . Steve recognized Michelle right away and knew who she was; Michelle did not, and they began texting back and forth right away. After a couple of dates it dawned on Michelle that she knew who Steve was; he was the guy who always posted the funny memes on Facebook. They had been Facebook friends all these years, and Michelle never noticed that the love of life was just a click away. After months of dating Steve let Michelle in on a little secret; he actually tried talking to Michelle back in 2015, he slid into her inbox. Sadly, Michelle was not interested in that moment, she was too preoccupied traveling the world alone. After 10 months of dating, they moved into a cozy two bedroom house, with a big yard for their boys to run around in. Alas, after a year and a month, Steve decided to pop the question after knowing all along that she would be the one. When it's meant to be, it's meant to be.
