We met the old fashioned way-Girl walks into restaurant, boy waits on her table, and boy leaves his number. Skyler was waiting tables at GOAT City Pub one Sunday in July, when Michelle went to lunch with her friend and her friend's father. Erin and Michelle had just moved in together and her father wanted to stop by and take Erin to lunch. Erin received a recommendation from our friend Amy who suggested GOAT. After a tour of the apartment, Jim didn't want to leave Michelle alone and invited her along for lunch. Skyler waited on their table and at one point Michelle whispered to Erin "he's cute but he seems weird..." which turned out to be because Skyler was nervous! He ended up leaving Michelle his number and we could say the rest is history, but Michelle cancelled their first date!! Undeterred, Skyler gave her space and then reached out a month or so later. Michelle told him she wasn't interested in anything more than a friendship....and the rest is history.
