How do I reserve a room at Generations Resort?

Answer

Select the "travel" tab and from there click "view." This will take you to our travel team's booking website where you can book a room after viewing descriptions, pricing, and other packages.

Can I book Generations through a third party website?

Answer

Guests are REQUIRED to book through the booking website with our travel team. Should you book through a third party, such as priceline, tripadvisor etc you will NOT be allowed to attend wedding events. We have worked with our team to get the best deal for our guests!

Can I stay at a different resort other than Generations?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have reserved a block of rooms at Generations Resort and guests are required to stay here. Should you choose to stay outside of our resort, you will NOT be allowed to attend wedding events.

What room should I choose?

Answer

Generations Resort has three sections: El Dorado Royale, El Dorado Casitas, and Generations Riviera Maya. Both El Dorado ROYALE and CASITAS are ADULTS ONLY. Generations Riviera Maya is available for both adults and children under 18 years. So long as you stay at one of these three hotels, you will have all inclusive resort access and will be able to attend all wedding events!

How many nights should I stay?

Answer

There is a THREE NIGHT minimum requirement to stay at Generations resort. However, you are welcome to stay more than three nights as we have reserved rooms from Tuesday, May 20th - Tuesday, May 27th. If you can only stay for three nights, Memorial Day is May 26th so feel free to stay Friday, Saturday, and Sunday night. However, we recommend you book your stay Thursday, Friday, and Saturday night to ensure you can attend all wedding events!

How do I calculate the total price when I book a room?

Answer

Each room has a set price for max occupancy of one, two, or three people. For example, double occupancy at the Luxury Junior Suite in the El Dorado Royale hotel shows $162. This is the price for EACH guest per night. So, a couple staying in this suite would pay a total of $162 x 2 people x 3 nights = $972 total stay. For families, each room also has a set price for one, two, or three adults. Kids ages 0-5 years are free and adding additional children between ages 6-17 years is slightly discounted. For example, double occupancy at the Oceanfront Suite at the Generations Riviera Maya hotel shows $250 plus $158 per each additional child. This again, is the price for EACH individual per night. So a family of four (two adults and two children between the ages of 6-17 years) would pay a total of ($250 x 2 adults) + ($158 x 2 kids) x 3 nights = $2,448 total stay. Can more than three people share a room?

Unfortunately, rooms have a maximum occupancy of three guests unless you are a family staying at Generations Riviera Maya hotel.

Who gets the all inclusive package?

Answer

All guests who stay at Generations resort and book through our travel team will automatically get all inclusive access! All guests have access to El Dorado Royale, El Dorado Royale Casitas, and Generations Riviera Maya. Please keep in mind, children under 18 years will only have access to amenities at Generations Riviera Maya.

What does the all inclusive package entail?

The all inclusive package will cover food and beverage for each night of stay. Guests will have access to all resort amenities such as pools, restaurants, gyms, bars etc. For a more comprehensive list of all things included, please see the booking website.

How do I travel from the airport to the resort?

Answer

Our travel team will provide transportation to the resort upon landing. When booking your stay, there will also be a link available to add your flight details. This will be private for only our travel team to view in order for them to know when to pick you up from the airport. They will also be available to transport you back from the resort to the airport at the end of your stay!

Do I have to pay for airport transportation?

Answer

No! Transportation to and from the airport will be covered by us. Be sure to include your travel details for our travel team after reserving your flight.

When is the deadline to RSVP?

Answer

All guests must RSVP by November 22nd and book a room no later than December 22nd. If we do not receive an RSVP by November 22nd you will be marked as “Not Attending.”
