On 8/4/2024, I had just been dumped, and instead of moping around, I decided to jump right back into the dating pool. I created a profile on Facebook Dating that evening, and woke up Monday morning to a message from Shade. We immediately bonded over our special needs boys, as well as our love of music. We texted all day, and then Shade called me that night. We joked about getting married in Vegas, even before we met in person. The sparks were definitely there, and neither of us wanted to prolong meeting, so we made a plan for the next day. I went to his house for a meal cooked by him. Since we had only talked for a day, and he could be a serial killer, I warned him that my kids and sister could track my location, and I gave everyone his address, phone number, and Facebook profile, so if he was thinking of killing me, he should probably not do it or he'd be caught! LOL The dinner date went very well, and we even shared our first kiss. Then we got together the next night, and the next night, and so on and so on. I love you was said by Friday, and marriage plans were discussed within a few weeks. Yes, it moved very fast, but when you know, you know!! 💞
