Warner Parks are 2 huge parks with both paved trails and trails in the woods. This is a great place for dogs and kids! Scott and Michelle have a goal of 26 hikes in 2026 and Warner Parks has helped us cross a few hikes off the list!
Another great park just south of Nashville where you will see a lot of wildlife. There are three different trail options that vary in length and difficulty.
The National Museum of African American Music is Nashville's newest museum. Scott and Michelle have been there twice and are looking forward to going back. There is so much to see and listen to!
Red Headed Stranger is another restaurant in Scott's restaurant group. Scott loves the cruchwrap and totcho's. Michelle is still wondering why there are no F****n chips.
The third restaurant in Scott's restuarant group. Expect unpretentious fine dining. Their tagline is "No dress code. Just wear pants."
Nolensville Pike is Michelle's favorite street in Nashville. Known for immigrant owned "mom and pop" restuarants, there is no shortage of food options. Some of our favorites are Tempo, Mas Amigos, Edessa, Taj, Cazuelas, and Deg Thai. The Nashville Zoo is also on Nolensville Pike if you are looking for a family-friendly activity.
For those of you staying on the West Side, Frothy Monkey is a great local coffee option. Michelle and Scott had thier initial wedding brainstorm at Frothy!
We all know how much Scott loves pizza. Nicky's is his recommendation for pizza on the west-side of town near the wedding venue.
There are so many places to listen to music beyond Broadway. The Listening Room and The Blue Bird Cafe are known for sit-down, songwriters rounds. There are small venues like Exit Inn, the Basement East, and 3rd & Lindsley that have ticketed-shows. For Bluegrass and Country check out the Station Inn, Dee's Country Coctail Lounge, or Tennessee Brew Works. Do615 and the Nashville Scene are great places to look for live music options.
