Originally built in the late 1950’s, the Spindrift Lane Home is a simple yet elegant stone edifice situated on a rocky promontory with unobstructed ocean views. The home once served as a hideaway for Hollywood Star, Kim Novak, most notable for her starring role in Alfred Hitchcok’s award-winning thriller, Vertigo. Adoringly called "Gull House" by Novak, it was her primary residence from 1961 to 1973 where it not only served as her escape, but as her art studio, as she’s a talented painter. She famously purchased the home without ever stepping foot inside. Now owned by The Raley Family, they have meticulously maintained the integrity of the one-of-a-kind residence with its beautiful stained glass vignettes and high beamed wood ceilings. If you look out onto its breathtaking views you might be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of the migrating whales.
