The Journey is Begining...We have made it this far and now it’s actually happening.

A year in a half ago is where it all started. The date was January 27, 2018. We were both invited to our friend Jaimie’s Birthday at Gilleys Dance Hall in Las Vegas. I was debating on going because I usually dance like crazy but was injured from a car accident and hurt my back so it took alot of convincing by Jaimie. I eventually decided to go. Little did I know that Sal was invited to her party as well. Keep in mind I had never met Sal before this night. Also he was not going to go because he was tired from working out. He ended up changing his mind and going as well. Jaimie introduced us and I swore up and down that I wasnt going to be interested. Sal was making conversation and kept giving me eye contact until I finally gave in. We started talking and then hanging out and being kind of goofy. He then gave me a really tight hug and i hugged him back and then we knew that we both felt the same way. Anyways, 3 weeks later Sal and I went shopping and bought the kids new clothes and fancy dresses and shoes. Sal had made special dinner plans for the night. I was so persistant not to go because the kids were just being unruly; but My oldest daughter insisted we had to go. So we all got dressed up and went to a beautiful restaurant called B.J’s. We a had huge corner booth and a delicious dinner. Sal then gave a beautiful speech to the kids and I. He then got down on one knee in the restaurant and proposed to me. It was an amazing night that I will never forget.
