Our story begins as any modern love story..... One beautiful summer evening, while the sun was setting, and the sky was a beautiful cotton candy pink and blue, two phones chimed as a Facebook Dating notification alerted a match. Ryan had swiped right on Michelle because he saw a picture of her at that years Ren Faire and was intrigued to know this beautiful nerdy girl. Michelle swiped right on Ryan because he was most definitely a nerdy guy, with his profile listing Star Trek and Doctor Who. They started talking through the messenger and decided to meet. The first time they met, after a few weeks of talking, was at Fat Heads Brewery, where they each decided to get a flight of different beers and share with each other. After finishing that flight and having some appetizers on the patio, in a cool summer breeze they decided to head to Ryans apartment and keep the evening going. That first night they watched some movies, laughed, talked and got to know each other more. After that first night, they both decided that they wanted to continue seeing each other. As the weeks went on, they finally decided that they had feelings for each other. Though both had been in some rough relationships before, they found solace, kindness, and love in one another. At first they were both nervous to tell each other, because of the hurt and pain, but eventually it came out, and so their love grew and grew everyday that they were able to spend with each other. As the year continued they made time to see each other, going to concerts, parties, and family events. As the next summer was coming, Ryan had a decision to make, whether he would move out of his apartment. He and Michelle had been discussing moving in together and decided that they felt it was the right time for them to do so. In July of 2023 they moved in together. Continuing on their journey of love and finding their relationship, it was on October 15th of their 1 year Anniversary that Ryan proposed, at The Melting Pot in Lyndhurst, where the two had gone for their very first official date. In order to continue their Fall Anniversary, they decided that October 31st, 2026 would not only combine their love of Fall, but allow them to use Halloween to make one of Michelles dreams come true, and have a Shrek themed wedding.
