It was mid-day and sunny. We attended a staff meeting. Pierce was sitting at the conference table when Michelle walked in. It was at that moment that Michelle and Pierce experienced an unusual yet fruitful chemistry. As time progressed, work friendship evolved into friendship, and friendship manifested into serious courtship. We have discovered that the best thing to hold onto in life is God and each other.

This was a momentous occasion. It was the 30th Birthday of Pierce. Michelle planned a birthday party at Firebirds - Short Pump with family and friends. She had several surprises in store for him, but he had the surprise of a lifetime for her. Michelle had no idea that her life would change forever. Without any hesitation and much anticipation, Pierce could not contain his excitement. So, he channeled those emotions into one of the most memorable moments of their lives. Pierce moved everything that was in his way (tables, chairs, people LOL!) to ask the love of his life for her hand in marriage. SHE SAID YES!!!!!!
