Question

What about the bar?

Answer

We will be providing beer, wine, and a signature cocktail. A cash bar will be available for all other requests.

Question

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?

Answer

The ceremony will be taking place at the Abernethy Center Chapel and the reception will be taking place across the street at the Abernethy Center Ballroom. They are both located on the same block on the Abernethy Center grounds.

Question

Where should I park?

Answer

There is a parking lot right next to the chapel which will give you easy access to the front entrance. If that parking lot is full, there is also additional parking past the chapel by the veiled garden, as well as there is a large parking lot across the street from the ballroom.

Question

Can I bring plus one to your wedding?

Answer

Unfortunately, we have limited space, therefore the venue can’t accommodate for all of our lovely guests to bring a guest of their own. Plus ones are therefore by invitation only and we ask other guests to please not bring a plus one. Thank you so much for understanding!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

Invitations will be specific and will include the names of the children who are invited. For those of you that will be bringing children, please be sure to watch them closely.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We would love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dressy-casual is how we are hoping to see everyone dressed. We want you to feel like yourself, just a little dressed up!

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins, we ask that all phones be put away. We want everyone to be fully present in the moment with us, and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you. Once the ceremony is over feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like and don't forget to share them with us!
