Liberty Station is a hip area for shopping, eating, drinking, and relaxing! It used to be a naval training site. Michelle and Nik also looked at the Stone Brewing there as a possible wedding location... before they saw Tom Ham's of course!
Beer + coffee here is great! We always end up here when we visit. The surrounding neighborhood has a lot more restaurant/brewery/bar options as well.
Our stomachs are grumbling just thinking about these tacos.
Museums, the zoo, pretty gardens... Get a beer at Panama 66 at the SD Museum of Art and people watch.
There's so many beaches, but this is the one we go to most often!
As happy hour chasers, this place has the best daily happy hour from 11AM-7PM!
Little Italy is amazing! Great drinks, food, ice cream... everything. The Little Italy food hall has great fast food options and a wine truck outside with a little piazza that you can drink and eat in. You can get pizza at Filippi's, gelato at Pappalecco, or even ramen at Underbelly, or try to get into the tiki bar in the back of Craft and Commerce... there's so many options.
Mexican food + margaritas = win. The tortilla lady outside of Cafe Coyote is a personal hero. Have her make you some fresh ones.
