best day ever

Miles and I have known each other since high school, but really never talked or acknowledged the other's existence because I was a year older. Fast forward about four years later and we re-connected at Foothills Christian Church during college group. I have to mention, I knew Miles had liked me for at least a year, but honestly was not interested and our only interactions were when he would come up to me after I was done leading worship and say "You have a really beautiful voice." In my mind, it was cute and I appreciated the encouragement and that he would go out of his way to tell me, but that was about as long as our conversations would last. As time went on I began watching him from afar and really began to see so many wonderful qualities that he carried. I asked pastors and other people I trusted and began trying to put myself in positions to talk with him. After a couple group activities, he FINALLY asked me out. Thanks to my sister (who basically forced me to go) we went out the next morning, and the rest is history. We cannot wait to be married! This time of life has been so exciting and we look forward to walking out this life together and trusting all that the Lord wants to do in and through us.
