Michelle and I met in person in the Spring of 2017. We were mutual friends on Facebook through a health and wellness company we both still do. I had no idea she lived in Massachusetts (we both shared hundreds of Facebook friends from this network marketing company) until I saw a post with her “checking in” to a local gym who I knew the owner. I commented on the post. Later that Saturday night I was out having a couple of drinks when she sent me a message. We chatted for two days about ourselves. She noticed that we share the same birthday! She asked me to meet up one night the next week which we both figured would be a chance to network. At that point I wasn’t even interested in meeting anyone since I’ve been hurt so many times. Little did we know it turned out to be a 3 hour date. I asked her out again the following weekend where we saw Guardians of the Galaxy II. The rest was history as we fell in love with each other. Not only did I fall in love with Michelle but also her two little boys Liam and Micah who I know consider boys of my own. The Proposal Michelle fell in love with a ring setting she found on Pinterest, a halo ring. The owner of the jewelry store stayed up all night on his day off and found the exact one. The ring was created perfectly! Michelle along with her family have always loved Disney World. We took a family vacation to Florida to Disney and to visit her parents. I slipped the ring to her mother around Christmas to take back with her. On 1/18/18 I arranged a private area at Epcot to propose right before the fireworks started. It was her dream to be engaged at Disney and to have a fall wedding. It made me the happiest person ever to give her both gifts! She loves me for who I am and I love her for who she is. I am blessed to have met such a beautiful and caring woman and I’m so glad God told me to make a simple comment on social media. One message. One moment. One marriage!
