It all started with a dating app called Tinder. I wasn't looking for love, but looking for a friend, someone to talk too, vent too, someone that would just be there to listen. On September 8th, we both swipe RIGHT! Michael messaged me first, simple and cute. WE MATCH! Who knew those 2 words would built something so incredible. From that day, it was a whole lot of small talk through text messages. Until one night he surprised me and called to talk. Our conversations lasted all through the night into early morning. He was for sure one of the easiest guys to talk too, so sweet and caring from early on. We set up a day and time to meet up a few times, but his work kept getting in the way. On November 22, 2015 we finally met in person. Michael drove to Ripley from Dyersburg (where he was staying for work). We kept it short and simple maybe a hour to hour in half max. (he had a cold) He decided he wasn't going home to Louisiana for Thanksgiving that year, so I invited him to eat with my family. Figured he wouldn't really show up due to him being so shy. But he did and that day was the first time he met my whole family! YES, all at once (poor guy) From that day forward Michael came to my house every night after work. Him and my boys played xbox every single night. Over the months, our friendship turned into a amazing, strong relationship. I never in a million years would have thought our friendship would be what it is today. Fast forward to Feburary 2016, Michael finally moved in đ Fast forward to 2017 we bought a house together. 2018, still going strong. Fast forward to 2019, still together, still madly in love, still my very best friend. November 3, 2019, he asked me to be his wife. The day that I thought would never come, but it was worth the wait. Now here I am four years later planning our wedding with our closest family. Me and my three kids are so thankful for Michael's love and support in everything we do. He was our missing piece! I can't wait to become Mrs. Armstrong and spend the rest of my life loving him.
