What airport do I fly into?

Answer

You can fly into JFK or LaGuardia! If you plan on renting a car, both airports are about a 45 minutes drive to the hotels (sometimes longer with traffic).

Can I use public transportation from the airports?

Answer

Yes! It is fairly easy to do Download the "MTA TrainTime" App If you are coming from JFK airport: Take the AirTran from JFK airport to Jamaica LIRR station - you can use apple wallet to scan or buy an in person ticket (5-10 min ride) On the MTA TrainTime app put in from: Jamaica LIRR to: Roslyn LIRR and it will give you the next available time (30 min ride) Uber from the Roslyn LIRR station to your hotel! (5 min ride) If you are coming from LaGuardia airport (this route takes longer and is more expensive because of the cab ride): Go to the taxi line and take a cab to Woodside LIRR station (10-15 min ride) On the MTA TrainTime app put in from: Woodside LIRR, to: Roslyn LIRR and it will give you the next available time (40-60 min ride) You will have to get off the train at Jamaica and possibly switch tracks, pay attention to what the app directions say Uber from the Roslyn LIRR station to your hotel! (5 min ride)
