We have made it a tradition to visit SeaWorld every 4th of July. They have great support and appreciation for veterans and they're doing amazing work for animal conservation efforts. They are certainly no longer the SeaWorld we grew up with!

Love animals? So does Michelle! Check out the zoo and go see all of the cute little guys! The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is dedicated conservation, working hard to keep the animals of the world safe through research and habitat protection.

A beautiful staple of San Diego. Being 1,200 acres, there's a lot of area to cover in the park. There are multiple museums and beautiful gardens to visit! These include the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum, the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Air & Space Museum, the San Diego Natural History Museum, the Botanical Building, the Lily Pond, and so many more!

Seafood not your thing? It's not Logan's either. Instead, try out Phil's! We went here after our initial tour of our venue and it's a great spot for ribs! Not a huge fan of ribs on the bone like Michelle? Good news - they offer ribs off the bone, too.
