Explore the venue for yourself! The Japanese Friendship Garden is a symbol of friendship between San Diego and its sister city in Japan, Yokohama. There will be time to explore during the cocktail hour, but you're more than welcome to check it out on your own!
We have made it a tradition to visit SeaWorld every 4th of July. They have great support and appreciation for veterans and they're doing amazing work for animal conservation efforts. They are certainly no longer the SeaWorld we grew up with!
Love animals? So does Michelle! Check out the zoo and go see all of the cute little guys! The San Diego Zoo Wildlife Alliance is dedicated conservation, working hard to keep the animals of the world safe through research and habitat protection.
A beautiful staple of San Diego. Being 1,200 acres, there's a lot of area to cover in the park. There are multiple museums and beautiful gardens to visit! These include the Japanese Friendship Garden and Museum, the San Diego Zoo, the San Diego Air & Space Museum, the San Diego Natural History Museum, the Botanical Building, the Lily Pond, and so many more!
A historic part of San Diego, hosting multiple buildings built within the Victorian era. There are plenty of shops and restaurants as well entertainment venues for those looking for some nightlife.
A great place to spend the day! There are several waterfront restaurants, plenty of cute shops, and a darling, historic wooden carousel built in 1895. Certainly a cute little date spot!
A beautiful park along the Pacific coast with hiking trails and gorgeous views. A quick Google search will show you just how pretty it is!
Interested in aviation like Logan? Then the San Diego Air & Space Museum is for you! View and admire aircraft from World War I and World War II as well as modern jets and a space age gallery!
America's longest serving aircraft carrier turned museume! Explore the flight deck, cockpits, and below-deck exhibits - something Logan would certainly love!
While we haven't been to the Birch Aquarium itself, we have a soft spot for aquariums. Our third date was at the Aquarium of the Pacific!
Seafood not your thing? It's not Logan's either. Instead, try out Phil's! We went here after our initial tour of our venue and it's a great spot for ribs! Not a huge fan of ribs on the bone like Michelle? Good news - they offer ribs off the bone, too.
