Things To Do

There are many shops in downtown Stamford, as well as great cafes and bars within walking distance from the hotels. If you plan to stay in town for the weekend and are looking to explore a bit further, here are some local favorites.
Tod's Point Beach

Tod's Point Beach

11 Tods Driftway, Old Greenwich, CT 06870

Where Lara grew up going to the beach, sailing and where many miles have been walked/run. It is a town owned park with many running and walking paths, picnic areas and historic buildings, with a ~2mi beach loop along the periphery of the park. ~weather permitting~ we'd recommend heading here for a run, walk, or grab lunch and head to the beach for a picnic! (We would highly recommend grabbing Garden Catering -a MUST HAVE- on your way through Old Greenwich) -NO park passes required after October 31-

Greenwich Avenue

Greenwich Avenue

Greenwich Avenue, Greenwich, CT

Greenwich Avenue or 'The Ave' is the town's main shopping center and is a several mile stretch of every store you can think of! Great area to take a walk, hop into a restaurant for a bite to eat or get any last minute items you might need. A quick train ride from downtown Stamford or a 2 block walk from the Delamar Hotel.

New York City

New York City

If you are planning to make a trip out of this weekend, the Metro-North Train runs through Stamford and Greenwich, and in just over an hour you will be at Grand Central Terminal in NYC!
