Watamu is a beautiful, lesser known beach town on the Northern coast of Kenya. It's famous in Kenya for it's marine life, particularly all the turtles. Be sure to check out the turtle sanctuary there and Mida Creek.
Diani
For those of you looking to stay in the south coast after Msambweni, Diani is the most convenient place to rest your head and perhaps take up a new water sport? It's known for it's world renowned beaches and excellent water sports schools... and skydiving. If you're looking for convenience, this is the spot but if you're looking for something more price sensitive, Watamu might be a better choice.
Zanzibar
This location needs no explanation, it's exploded in popularity in recent years and for good reason... It's a gorgeous tropical oasis.

If you're interested in feeding Giraffes, getting close and personal with crocodiles and giant tortoises that are over 100 years old, this is the place for you.
