We met on Hinge! Not the most traditional way, or the most exciting story, but we are obviously beyond happy that it worked for us! From our first date we were blown away by how much we had in common. We were so excited for the potential of our first summer together doing all the activities we both love (hiking, camping, exploring, soccer, really anything outdoors). As fate would have it, one of us (cough cough, Keegan) would unfortunately tear their ACL going a little too big on the slopes. Although our original hopes for the summer were quickly altered-as most of the activities we love require two working legs lol-we did not let this stop us. We still had one of the best and most memorable summers of our lives. We took advantage of activities we could still enjoy starting off with a lot of park dates by the water, soaking up the sun, and eventually finding one of our now favorite activities, paddleboarding! And of course Brewski (our dog) ended up being a complete natural, it's like he'd been paddleboarding all his life! It did not take long to discover we had found something very special in one another and it has truly only continued to get better from there.
Doing what we do best! The proposal happened on a hike that we had planned with our friends who were visiting from out of town (of course one/some of us had a lot more in mind for this hike). It is a very picturesque area, overlooking Coeur d'Alene lake. We eventually made it to a beautiful beach/outlet and decided that this was a good place to snap a few pictures before we turned back. The next thing you know someone is down on one knee, another one of us is speechless, and just like that we were engaged!! We both could not wipe the smile off our faces for days/weeks/months to come (let's be real-we are both still over the moon). Truely a dream come true. Most definitely considered one of the best days of our lives and we can't wait for many more to come, starting off with this wedding! And we are beyond excited to share this special day with all of you!!
