I first started talking to Michelle when I saw her online and thought that she was so pretty I just had to say something to her. I sent her a message, not thinking that she would respond. To my surprise, she actually replied! This happiness was short-lived, however, as she soon thereafter decided that I was too boring to talk to, and she subsequently stopped replying to me. It wouldn't be for a couple weeks that I—still sad from Michelle's rejection, but armed with the power of liquid courage (couple shots of tequila while I was in Cancun)—mustered up the courage to message her again and ask her out on a date, fully expecting to just be ignored. Unexpectedly, she responded and agreed to meet up. After only 3 dates, I knew that I had found myself the kindest, smartest, wittiest, most beautiful lady who was perfect for me; and I knew, even that early on, that I would eventually marry this girl. I first met Josh in-person at a boba shop near my college. Up until then, we had only talked over the phone. As I walked in and saw him sitting at our table, I couldn't help but think to myself, "Wow, he's even cuter in person." Throughout our first date, Josh was (and still is) the funniest, kindest and most charming man I know. Needless to say, we instantly hit it off. 1 date turned into 2, then 3 and 4...and the rest was history.
