We both went to the University of North Carolina at Charlotte, crossing paths more times than we realized. We attended a class together, and our dorms were close to each other. Despite these close encounters, it took a swipe on Tinder for us to truly connect. We both swiped right and to our surprise, it was a match! We started chatting, quickly discovering our shared experiences at UNC Charlotte. We laughed about how many times we must have crossed paths without even noticing each other. Our first date happened on an unexpected snow day on campus. Classes were canceled, and the whole campus was covered in a blanket of snow. We made the most of this unexpected winter wonderland. Bundled up in our warmest clothes, we spent the day building snowmen, having snowball fights, and simply enjoying each other's company. As the day turned to evening, we found a cozy spot in the dorm. We talked for hours, sharing stories and dreams. The conversation flowed effortlessly, and we bonded over our shared experiences. From that snowy day on, we were inseparable. We explored the campus together, revisiting places we had unknowingly shared and creating new memories. We studied in the library, ate in the dining hall, and even took spontaneous trips to get Cook-out in the evenings. Our relationship grew stronger with each passing day. We supported each other through the stresses of exams and celebrated our successes together. The more we learned about each other, the more we realized how perfectly we fit together. Looking back, it's amazing to think that we were so close yet so far for so long. It took a chance encounter on Tinder to bring us together, but once we found each other, we knew it was meant to be. Our love story is a beautiful reminder that sometimes, the best things in life happen when you least expect them.
