John and Michelle met at college one February weekend in 2015. Michelle was visiting a friend, John's roommate, who decided to run out for takeout. John noticed the stranger in his living room waiting for his roommate and decided to entertain the new girl sitting on his couch. They spoke for hours, exchanging childhood stories and comparing cat photos until 6:00 AM (for reference, Michelle is usually in bed by 10:00 on a weekend). A week later, Michelle asked John out to coffee, followed seven years of date nights, traveling, and cozy nights in. Even when separated by 228 miles, they always persevered and made sure to savor their time together. Now they live together in Fitchburg where they spend their time working on home projects, babying their two cats Ellie and Zoey (AKA. The Muppet), and hanging out with their four birds, Disco, Rosie, Noodle, and Biscuit.
