Joe and I (Michelle) met in the year 2019. It was the beginning of something beautiful—though at the time, we didn’t quite know it. Something, indeed, very special built on a foundation of true friendship. I (Joe) met Michelle at work, right before the pandemic. For a year, we worked right along each other, hand and hand. Blissful beginnings; we laughed, learned each other and started to see one another in a whole different light. The realization hit me, my favorite co- worker is my hand picked soulmate. Throughout the years, we have gotten to discover together —our quirks, our hobbies, the things that make us smile and most importantly, our thoughts shifted from “I enjoy working with you” to “I want to spend forever with you”.
