We met in 2016 while working at the Beverly Wilshire. He says we met in the elevator but I say we met outside as I was coming in to work and he was getting some fresh air during his lunch break. In the next few weeks we ran in to each other a few times in the cafeteria and he kept telling me he was going to book a massage with me. I said "great! Just remember to ask for Gabby!" My name was Gabby at work because there was another therapist named Michelle and they didn't want any confusion. Anyway, he finally made the appointment 3 weeks later. During the session James mentioned that he was in a softball league and we decided to go to the batting cages the following week. As friends. Or so we thought... James ended up meeting me out at a bar a couple nights before our batting cages "date", thanks to the OG Michelle! I was taking a break from dating and the last thing I wanted to do was to date somebody at work! Michelle encouraged me to go on a date with him because he "has a motorcycle and is so cool!" Things progressed very naturally and effortlessly from there. (Thanks Michelle!) On our one year anniversary (8.18.17), James received a call about a promotion and transfer to Washington DC. He asked me to move with him and here we are almost 6 years later. We adopted our adorable dog, Chamoy, 6 months after moving to DC. He is the light of our lives! We have been lucky enough to travel a lot and look forward to many more adventures together!
