Question
What if I want to book an Airbnb instead of a hotel?
Answer
We suggest you look at surrounding areas, such as Boscawen, Sanbornton, Canterbury, Concord, Franklin, Gilmanton, Tilton, and Belmont. If you want to be closer to Lake Winnipesaukee, we suggest Laconia, Gilford, and Meredith. This area is approximately 45 minutes away from the wedding venue. However, it's a gorgeous area and a beautiful drive. Concord (our capital) is a good option as it is 20 minutes to the venue and 20 minutes from the MHT airport.

Is Uber an option for transportation?
Answer
Access to Uber is limited in rural NH. Renting a car may be the most affordable and reliable option. You can also explore private transportation/car service options and make those arrangements in advance.

Will I need a rental vehicle to get to the venue?
Answer
If you're staying at one of the three suggested hotels (see Travel & Stay section) and plan to alter your state of consciousness in any way, a "party van" will pick guests up between 2 PM and 2:30 PM and drive them back around 2 AM. Otherwise, we suggest contacting a local cab or private transportation company in advance and scheduling your drop-off and pick-up, or ensuring someone in your party is a designated driver.

What is on the menu?
Answer
Guests will feast on a decadent spread of Southern barbecue cuisine, where tender, fall-off-the bone meats are slow-cooked and bathed in a symphony of rich, home-made, tangy sauces, and accompanied by crisp, creamy coleslaw, velvety golden mac-n-cheese, and buttery, honey-kissed corn bread, among other delicious comfort foods slow-cooked with love to feed your soul. Will there be an open bar?
Answer
Yes! Because we believe that love is intoxicating and we understand hydration is important - whether it's water, wine, or whiskey. No tipping necessary. **There will be a variety of non-alcoholic beverage options as well.

What is the attire?
Answer
Come as you are and wear whatever makes you feel good! For those visiting the Shire who are more accustomed to warmer climates, September weather is dreamy, as well as brisk once the sun sets. You may want to wear layers or bring a jacket for optimum comfort.

Are children allowed to attend?
Answer
We love your little ones, however, no need to pack your parental responsibilities or adorable children. This party is strictly for the grown-ups! A few younger VIPs will be part of the ceremony and early evening festivities only. This is to ensure guests can enjoy a magical celebration of love, laughter, life, and connection, while embracing their inner child and acting accordingly (should they so desire). Is there a registry or suggestions for gifts?

That's a HARD NO! Your presence is a gift, and we do not take it lightly that you spent serious cashola to party with us for two days in the sticks of New Hampshire.
